Yoga Nidra, also known as "cosmic sleep," is a form of guided meditation that aims to induce a state of deep relaxation and inner peace. This non-doing practice uses tools and exercises to relax the physical body and engage the subtle body. Therapeutic benefits can include stress reduction, increased clarity/focus and improved sleep. Each month focuses on a new theme that connects to the nature and season of the gardens, as well as your inner landscape. This hour-long class begins with a brief introduction of Yoga Nidra, followed by a few simple and gentle movement exercises. Assume a comfortable and supported position (generally lying on your back). No prior experience of yoga or meditation is needed. All skill levels are welcome.
RETURN TO PRESENCE: A Yoga Nidra Sound Bath
Join Rya and Tiff for a self-care retreat as we explore the Return To Presence within ourselves. Inspired by the creative essence within each human, we can embrace this season of renewal by exploring, celebrating and tapping into the river of consciousness that flows within all of us. This 2 1/2 hour workshop includes gentle asana, creative journaling, breath work, self oracle card reading and our signature Yoga Nidra Sound Bath. Rya and Tiff are excited to lead their 10th Yoga Nidra Sound Bath workshop in Denver. As part of The Sol Flowers collective, their shared love for yoga nidra and sound alchemy has inspired this cherished collaboration. Please bring a pen, and consider an eye mask and journal.
